Green Travel
For us, sustainable travel means combining comfort and responsibility. With our Green Travel offer we also want to promote environmentally friendly travel: guests arriving by public transport receive up to 10% discount on the daily rate. This way your stay begins relaxed – and with a conscious contribution to the environment.

In the resort, LED lighting and green electricity are used. A well-thought-out energy management and resource-saving cooling concepts additionally help to use energy efficiently. Even organic waste is used to generate heat and energy from it again.
The Kaiserwinkl has drinking water of excellent quality. Therefore, we can use spring water from the tap and thus reduce the use of plastic bottles. At the same time, energy-intensive minibars can be dispensed with – a small difference in everyday life that saves resources.
Sustainability also shows in how we handle food and waste. In the resort, portion packaging is largely avoided; instead, reusable bottles and glass bowls are used. Waste is carefully separated, organic waste energetically recycled. In the Move & Relax kitchen, natural ingredients, short delivery routes, selected partners such as the Walchsee organic cheese dairy and regional producers are the focus.
For us, sustainability also means responsibility towards the people, who fill Das Lakeside and the resort with life every day. That's why we promote health, well-being and personal appreciation of our employees. This includes, among other things, the use of the Move area, joint training sessions and discounts on massages and Relax offers. Internally, sustainable awareness is actively passed on and promoted.
Arrival is conveniently possible by train and bus possible. With the Kaiserwinkl Card you can use the regional bus connections free of charge use. Also e-bikes, bookable train station transfer and electric cars are available at Das Lakeside.
Also for care and cosmetics, we pay attention to consciously selected products. In the resort, products from REVIDERM are used, among others, which are climate-friendly packaged and based on natural formulations are based. In the laundry are also sustainable and certified products used.
